Diphy is a design chandelier awarded with the Red Dot Design Award 2017. The design of this pendant lamp is inspired by the extraordinary characteristics of an Asian flower, the Diphylleya Grayi. The petals of this unique flower become transparent in contact with water. The Diphy LED chandelier proposes this effect thanks to the innovative OptiLight technology. When the lamp is off, it becomes completely transparent, while when it is on, it reveals an elegant point pattern. The transparent effect is possible thanks to the PMMA diffuser. Laser micro-incisions on its surface manage to diffuse the light both downwards and upwards. The LED source is placed in a very thin white bar below the leaf-shaped diffuser, which is supported by two cables connected to an oval rose that act both as supports and conductors.
